Our next group meeting will be on the 15th of May 2017, at The Oxford Centre, Longbenton, NE12 8LT, 12:30pm-2:30pm. International Fibromyalgia Awareness Day 12th May

International Fibromyalgia Awareness Day is upon us! The 12th of May is our day to raise awareness around the world, online and in real life! Our last meeting 10-04-17 (Guest speaker Steve Forster – Disability North)

At our last meeting we gratefully welcomed Steve Forster along to talk to us about PIP assessments. Steve works for a charity called Disability North, and they are a charity that ‘provides advice and guidance on benefit claims from initial application through to representation at appeals. Our craft session (04-04-17)

Our last crafting meet up was on the 4th of April and we had an Easter theme to all of our crafts. Theresa and Barbara kindly demonstrated how to make a number of different paper flowers by folding crepe paper, napkins and tissue paper. Group Meeting 10-04-17

Our April group meeting will be earlier in the month than usual to accommodate the Easter bank holiday. So the next meeting will be on the 10th of April 2017, at The Oxford Centre, Longbenton, NE12 8LT, 12:30pm-2:30pm. Upcoming craft session 04-04-17

The next craft session is soon upon us!  Our craft session is Easter themed with an Easter egg decorating competition! The competition will be judged by our Angie (group founder) at the next meeting (10-04-17) and there will be a prize for the winner! Christmas meal and Christmas meeting update…

So it’s that time of year again, a time to come together, don a Christmas jumper and laugh, eat, be merry and of course win prizes! (WE LOVE A RAFFLE!) Our fundraising efforts..

Some of you may not know that our support group is run on fundraising efforts and monthly £1.50 membership money alone.
