On the 1st of July members of the group volunteered to cover our stall at the Ponteland Leisure Centre food & craft fair to help raise funds to keep our support group going.
‘The fair had 40+ artisan traders in a huge marquee selling food, drink and gifts, with live family entertainment, face painting, a children’s funfair, birds of prey, pony rides and much more!’ – ponteland leisure centre fair website
It was a fantastic day with lots of members and their families helping out on the tombola stall! We managed to raise a colossal £200!
Sincere thank yous and huge well dones to everyone who helped out, donated a prize or bought some tombola tickets, your efforts that day will help to keep our support group going and raise awareness of invisible disabilities such as Fibromyalgia! You’re absolute super stars!
I’ll leave you with a couple of photos from the day!
