Fibromyalgia Support Group @ Oxford Centre 12.30pm to 2.45pm May’s support group meeting – this month we are having a talk and demonstration from Sarah Mac who runs yoga classes in the Newcastle Morpeth and Hexham areas. Sarah’s Mum suffers with Fibromyalgia and has found this form of therapy very beneficial, so Sarah has kindly volunteered to share her Mum’s experience and some possible techniques we might want to try. Our next meeting meeting is on Monday 17th June 2013 at the Oxford Centre, Longbenton. NE12  8LT. 12.30 – 2.30 pm. This month we are going to be showing a DVD by Dr Kevin White from Canada called ‘Breaking Thru Fibro Myths’. Dr White has been an internationally-recognised expert in Fibromyalgia treatment and research, FM patient advocate and university Teacher of the Year.  Dr White strives to help millions of FM sufferers by proving that FM

Awareness day is 12th of may. If you would like to do anything to raise money for the support group or fmauk that would be great. You could do a fun run or coffee morning.

Dear Members I am sure you will all agree that our Group is a great support to us all and I for one look forward to our meetings each month, not only for my own benefit but also for the help and support we give to each other. It therefore makes it even more difficult for the committee to make decisions that will disappoint our members but unfortunately the Group is in the same situation
