A warm welcome to all new members and a warm welcome back to all our members of the group. We aim to make this a kind, inclusive, supportive, understanding community where members are able to keep up to date with our support group meetings, art therapy craft sessions, and coffee&natter meet ups.
Angela Campbell founded this group 9 years ago and over the years it has grown into a wonderful community, which brings awareness and visibility to an invisible disability.
Our support group meets at The Oxford Centre, Longbenton, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE12 8LT every 3rd Monday of the month 12:30-2:30pm. We also hold art therapy craft sessions at The Oxford Centre and more relaxed Coffee&Natter sessions in different cafes around the city.
We’re always looking for help with our fundraising efforts to help keep the group going – from the day to day running of the charity to coming up with fundraising ideas and raising money – if you think you would like to help out please do get in touch.
If you would like to get in touch we’re across social media with a closed Facebook group to get support and advice in a private group setting where you’re surrounded by people who understand what you’re going through, we also have an open Facebook page for keeping up to date with events, and we’re on twitter! For all our social media information please go to the website home page and scroll down to the bottom for links that will direct you to us. If you feel it’s a more personal matter please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Take care and enjoy the group!
